Matthew Butler has over 25 years of investment experience
For over twenty years, Mr. Butler has been responsible for the management of investment portfolios of both high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, families, endowments, & foundations involving equities, alternative investments, & fixed-income securities.
Previously, Mr. Butler worked at H&R Block Financial Advisors as an Equity Research Analyst and Investment Company Wholesaler for over four years. The majority of this time was spent providing Equity Research coverage in the Media Sector, while also providing equity research assistance in the Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Energy, Financials, Information Technology, Healthcare, Communication Services, Industrials, & Utility Industries.
Mr. Butler holds a Bachelor od Science degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University (1998) and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Wayne State University (2005) and has also obtained licenses for FINRA – Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), as well as Series 7, & 66.
In 2010 & 2011, Mr. Butler was nominated for Crain’s Detroit Business 40 under 40. He resides in Monroe, Michigan with his family.
